This episode is all about the next generation of visionaries! Earlier this month at the 2018 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, we attended the premiere of the 2018 HBO APA Visionaries Short Films. Three directors, chosen out of thousands of submissions, will have their films showcased on HBO during the month of May and available to stream on HBO Go and Now apps. The KollabCast was able to sit down with the three directors, Huay-Bing Law, Fiona Roan, and Maritte Go, to talk about their films as well as their experiences as Asian American film directors. We also chat with representatives from HBO Leonardo Nam, Sujata Day, and Jackie Gagne.
