C3 Conference: The seventh edition of C3 will converge with the opening weekend of the LA Asian Pacific Film Festival, Saturday, April 29th and Sunday April 30th at the Japanese American National Museum, located in the historic Little Tokyo district of Downtown Los Angeles.

 

Flash Point 2017: Twenty-five Years After the 1992 Los Angeles Uprising: Join us as we utilize art and media to examine the socio-political factors that provoked the 1992 LA Uprising and its impact on the racial and economic climate in LA and across the US today. Don’t miss the screening of WET SAND and our Centerpiece Presentation GOOK! Programming at UCLA and LAAPFF venues from April 28 to 30. Part of the Meyer and Renee Luskin Lecture Series.

 

Tigers Roar: Southeast Asian Cinema: LAAPFF is proud to work with ASEAC-SEARCN as a Network Partner to co-present the Los Angeles edition of the conference and related screening activities. ASEAC-SEARCN LA will take place from Friday, April 28 to Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the Darren Star Theatre in UCLA.
