Anita, a strong-willed and independent chef, meets Mayank, an asperger-y super-dork with a lovable charm. And by meet, we mean Mayank lets himself into her apartment, and waits by her bed until she wakes up! It’s okay though, because it’s Mayank. He’s harmless. Anita and Mayank’s parents are very on board with the arrangement; but Anita is not ready to give up her wonderful life, and settle for someone she doesn’t love. Maybe she’d end up with Mick, her not-a-complete douche bag boyfriend, if she had more time. Through a series of events, we find out that they both need each other for their own selfish reasons. They both decide to take the plunge since it’s mutually beneficial—although straight up crazy—and we see the beginning of a ridiculous “Will and Grace” type friendship ensue in this odd couple comedy.
