A Vietnam War refugee discusses first coming to America, what she’s missed about her home country, and what she hopes for the future of both the U.S. and Vietnam.


Director's Bio

Evan Nguyen is a 16-year-old junior at Del Norte High School. He has been interested in film since his freshman year taking digital media. Going into his senior year, he will be enrolled in the school’s broadcast journalism class, where students make weekly videos and broadcast films highlighting school events. Evan believes that documentaries are the most powerful type of film he can produce.
