Directed by Jeannie Nguyen
This film explores the boundaries of self-expression and what it is like growing up as a first generation Asian American in the late 90’s.
Jeannie Nguyen is an Asian American filmmaker whose work plunges into social issues of the model minority and creates surreal narratives to strike conversations. She developed a passion for creative narrative work and a commitment to fill a void in the filmmaking industry, where she can represent women and minorities in their truest forms.
