Dance is prohibited in Iran. While it is said to be a sin, there are still many dancers dancing with passion, they bear the restrictions and continue dancing.
Director's Bio
Tanin Torabi was born in 1992 in Tehran, Iran. She earned her BA in Sociology and is very interested to convey conceptual and social issues with usage of dance and film. She has her MA in Contemporary Dance Performance from The University of Limerick, Ireland. Torabi has made several dance films and performances and currently works as a dancer, choreographer and dance film maker in Iran.
