Sanif Olek is a Singapore-based film and television director. Since 1996, he has juggled commercial work for television and commissioned works for Singapore’s government agencies, with public outreach programmes. His debut feature film, SAYANG DISAYANG was Singapore’s official entry to the 2015 Oscars® (Best Foreign Language Film). His short films have been winning awards and receiving critical acclaim for their authentic Singaporean stories that portray raw human emotions.
