Description
Grappling with grief, Elaine is haunted by the ghost of her mother. In therapy, she tries to gain clarity on the nature of the hauntings. Are they a product of her grief or are they urging her to perform the ultimate act of violence against her own father?
Director's Bio
Desha is a San Francisco native, Howard University and UCLA alumna. An award-winning filmmaker, her shorts have screened at Sundance, BlackStar, American Black, Pan African and Urbanworld Film Festivals. Her screenwriting has found support at Tribeca All-Access, Film Independent, and Hedgebrook. A faculty member in the Department of Film & Media Studies at UC Irvine, she explores innovative visual storytelling and continues to share rich human stories.
